The Quick List

We all buy products on a pretty consistent basis to support our respective lifestyles.  It has always been important to me to purchase close to home, ethically made, reasonably priced ‘things’ to keep my life comfortable. I would have to say that many are wants and some are needs and as time passes, I am far more willing to seek out those companies that walk their talk ~ where their mission and values shine in the work that they do and the way in which they empower their employees.

Each and every product or service for which I am an affiliate, I have vetted fully and used consistently to be sure that things really are as they seemed and the message was actually lived and breathed in a way that was fully in line with core values. I have become incredibly particular about the products that are in my home, especially those in my pantry that will eventually be consumed.

One very important lesson I have learned, which continues to be solidified each and every day, is that each and every one of these choices affects my health, whether it be mental, emotional, physical or spiritual.  When I buy something, I must feel good about the purchase.  What company made it?  What was used to make it?  Where was it made?  Did it have to be transported half way around the world?  How are employees treated?  How are employees empowered?  What is the experience when I need help or there is a problem? Why am I choosing this product?  Is there another option that will better suit me that is more in line with my beliefs?

Each of the products and services mentioned on my site, whether I am an affiliate or not, are products I have found to resonate with.  Please check each out for yourself to see if you resonate as well.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.  I would love to hear from you.

Beaver Brook Ranch

We do everything we can to avoid eating factory farmed beef. I can’t tell you how elated I was to find this ranch within 100 miles from my home. Hands down the best tasting beef I have ever eaten and confirmed by the many guests I have had for dinner that have unequivocally agreed. The animals are very well cared for, grazing on wide open pastures including the one you see here. I stood in this field with the steers and can absolutely say this is everything the rancher says it is, and more. So long as I have a choice, this is where we will source beef from. If you don’t live in proximity for pick-up or delivery, find locally raised beef near you. It really does make all the difference.
